Several people sustained injuries following a Delta Airlines jet originating in Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia experienced rough air this past Friday.

Flight DL41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it landed at the Sydney airport, a representative for the carrier stated. A number of the onboard staff were injured.

Local paramedics stated they evaluated a total of five people, and transferred three of them to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that such as back pain and migraines. The injured spanned from their 30s to 70s.
