Among Avatar: The Last Airbender's top episodes gets an exclusive Magic: The Gathering collector's set.
Typically, recap episodes are disliked among audiences as an unnecessary waste of time, or at best accepted as essential for series in the age of regular broadcasts. That wasn't always true, though Avatar: The Last Airbender proved it through "The Ember Island Players," a popular segment in its last season now being receiving a special Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair release.
Highlights regarding the special release
The complete Secret Lair superdrop for the forthcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender set was revealed on November 4. This includes five distinct sets, and while a set named "My Cabbages!" is clearly humorous tribute to the show's best background character, the other collections seem somewhat less imaginative, with one notable exception: "The Ember Island Players."
Inspired by the seventeenth episode in the final season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, this collector's drop includes these specific cards:

What makes this segment remains memorable
Audiences of the series warmly cherish this particular episode, which served as a summary of the hero Aang and his companions' journey prior to the final episode. In contrast to typical clip shows, or "clip shows," "The Ember Island Players" wasn't motivated due to production constraints or scheduling problems. The creators genuinely intended to offer viewers an opportunity to recap the overall plot, however, they opted to do it creatively.
Throughout the segment, the crew view a play based on their adventures at a playhouse set on Ember Island, named The Boy in the Iceberg. The entire performance is factually incorrect, cheesy, and utterly comical. It excels since it plays on the characters' views of themselves, setting them against against how the world (and notably the Fire Nation) views them. It contains an ideal level of introspective humor, and it becomes arguably the top rendition of the series released so far.
