No Script, Anthony Joshua Will Swiftly Knock Jake Paul Out - Hearn Asserts

I have no substantial defence regarding AJ versus Paul. It's crazy the fact it's occurring and I feel the skeptics are correct.

But, we just couldn't turn it down. No boxer who is sensible would have declined. Anybody claiming they'd refuse are utterly dishonest outright.

We took a fight that we believe is extremely easy, will provide AJ an enormous profile in the United States and among the highest paydays.

We are certainly not giving this guy an advantage or an opportunity to claim "told you I am superior to AJ" or "I took rounds from him". This would be devastating for Anthony Joshua and we're not going to take that risk.

Public Pressure for an Quick Knockout

Then there are those who say if Anthony Joshua does not stop him inside the first round then it's a disgrace.

He's expected to walk through this guy but, goodness, give him two to three rounds for safety. Since Jake's approach will reflect on the pace of the finish.

Should he come forward, it will all be over quickly. However if he fights on the back foot and attempting to tie him up and stick and move, then he may survive a few rounds.

We will not see AJ run across the ring immediately and start windmilling.

Similar to his approach against Ngannou, he will step in there, size him up and then unleash with his power shots.

Paul Can Whack a Little Bit

I have heard the likes of Roy Jones Jr and Atlas stating you can't count Jake Paul out in this fight. Am I losing the plot ? Is there anything they're seeing that I'm not?

Let us be something right - Jake is a pro fighter. I think he's a decent cruiserweight - top 60 or 70 globally.

This isn't an individual that has not laced a pair of gloves previously. He can whack with some power. He's sparring Lawrence Okolie and top-ten big men.

Forgetting the win over Mike Tyson, who was an old man, Jake defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr - who may have been a done fighter but was not a total pushover.

Chavez Jr prepared for that bout and was a former world champion who went the distance with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and nearly stopped Sergio Martinez in the final round.

So I actually credit Jake for training hard and showing respect to the craft , and he has accomplished a great deal for women's boxing with his promotion company.

But in spite of his delusion, passion, dedication and improved skills, he ought to be being knocked out by Joshua.

The Moment AJ Lands, It's Over

Paul and his camp are banking on many factors. Banking on AJ is underestimating them, hoping AJ is shot, hoping AJ's lack of activity will be a factor, hoping AJ is low in self-belief, banking on AJ's durability has deteriorated.

But, to their misfortune, AJ is super focused. He's had a camp and he is preparing like he is facing Usyk or in a Daniel Dubois second fight.
